Barberton Mines continues its commitment to youth development by opening applications for the Fairview Mine Graduate Internship Programme. The programme is specifically targeted at graduates in Public Relations, Communications, or Media Studies, offering a platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and the demands of the workplace. Successful candidates will gain exposure to corporate communications, community engagement, media relations, and other core functions within the mine’s communication structures.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- South African Citizenship (essential)
- BA Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Media Studies recognized by SAQA
- Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to speak SiSwati
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A minimum pass rate of 60% in final-year subjects (no subject failures)
- Must obtain a valid Barberton Mines Medical Fitness Certificate within 21 days of accepting the offer
- A clean criminal record
- A driver’s license will be an added advantage
