The renewable energy sector in South Africa continues to create new opportunities for local youth, and Zeerust Solar is at the forefront of this movement. The company is offering a 12-month Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Internship Programme, beginning in January 2026, to empower young people within the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality.
About the Internship Programme
The Zeerust Solar HSE Internship Programme provides a full-time development opportunity for one year. Interns will receive training and support in the field of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), a critical area within the renewable energy industry.
The aim is to ensure that local residents are empowered with skills and experience to contribute not only to Zeerust Solar’s operations but also to the wider community and energy sector in South Africa.
Who Can Apply?
You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about creating a safer, more sustainable environment and ready to dedicate yourself to a full-time programme starting in January 2026.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen, aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Reside in the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality.
- Be proficient in Setswana and English (spoken, read, and written).
- Hold qualifications and meet requirements aligned with the role’s responsibilities.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, or be committed to obtaining one by June 2026.
This initiative strongly encourages participation from local unemployed youth who are committed to growth and development.
